Collectible card games have enjoyed so far a placid existence in the mobile space-time continuum, and many companies have rushed to stick their flag and attract players the sooner the better, given the long term dedication this kind of games require.
However, Blizzard chose to not hurry up what could be its best move to blitz into mobile gaming, and developed Hearthstone with care. This also raised some expectations, and comparisons with other competitors are unavoidable. Fortunately, Hearthstone is a little jewel, able to lure usual CCG gamers but also, hence its main goal, to bring and expand WOW users experience.

Editors Notes:As no one has ever dared to recreate a trading card game on mobile (where players can exchange cards between each other), Hearthstone creates a system in which you can disenchant cards to earn “magic dust” and create those you really want. We’ve seen this elsewhere, but here is a key element of the game an ensures your deck is overall of your liking and you play with the characters you like most.
